Coronavirus disease 2019 (also referred to as COVID‑19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). It has been declared to be a pandemic by the WHO as it has spread rapidly throughout the entire world.
Symptoms include:
- Fever
- Cough
- Fatigue
- Shortness of breath or breathing difficulties
- Loss of smell and taste

At Guided Futures, we understand the importance of having comprehensive infection prevention and
control practices as a part of our COVID-19 response. As part of our Outbreak Prevention Program, we
have ensured that:
Ensure our staff have been vaccinated against COVID-19
Our staff are well trained and demonstrate competency in infection prevention and control practices,
particularly in the user of Personal Protective Equipment PPE
Possess sufficient stocks of PPE for each task / participant as required
